OMIT OUTLIER

The toggle 'OmitOutlier' provides an automatic feature for the automatic generation of OMIT instructions: F(obs)/F(calc) differences larger than 8 sigma are registered. The corresponding reflections are omitted from subsequent refinement cycles.

This option should not be used in the early refinement stages and with sufficient discretion otherwise. There should always be an explanation given for permanently omitted reflection data from the final refinement cycles.
